Rules

By joining the server, you accept these rules and agree to follow them.

The administration may change these rules. Planned changes are announced on Discord beforehand.

Situations not explicitly covered by the rules may be handled case by case, based on context. Administration decisions are final; if you disagree, you may appeal via tickets.

Penalties are applied individually, based on the severity of the offense and the player's history of violations on the server. The range includes, among others: a reminder, a warning, kick, slay, and ban - from temporary (hours / days) to permanent.

Respect is required. Forbidden: discrimination (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and similar - including nicknames and dino names), harassment, stalking, and NSFW / obscene content outside channels designated for it. Pornography is forbidden.

Punishing players yourself for breaking the rules is forbidden. Someone else breaking the rules does not give you the right to do the same. Report every violation via ticket with evidence - staff will handle it.

Spamming messages or GIFs in channels not meant for that is forbidden. Server-related matters are handled only through tickets. Do not ping staff or DM them about server issues.

Public Discord channels and in-game local / global chat are Polish and English. #pl chat is Polish only, #en chat is English only. Community channels (e.g. LFG / Nests) may also use other languages. VoIP allows both Polish and English.

Advertising other servers, Discords, or streams without staff approval is forbidden.

Keep personal disputes and accusations in DMs or tickets, not in public channels. Escalating conflicts in public channels will be punished.

Publicly smearing or defaming the server, staff, or players without evidence is treated as harming the community and results in removal from Amber Coast (Discord and/or the game server - depending on severity).

Steam and Discord accounts are personal - sharing them is forbidden. Impersonating other players or staff is also forbidden, including deliberately copying someone's in-game or Discord name.

Sharing another player's dinosaur position is forbidden.

Third-party programs, cheats, and deliberate abuse of game bugs for an unfair advantage are forbidden. Abusing server mechanics or systems for an advantage (e.g. escaping with /unstuck or teleport) is also forbidden.

Using a livestream to track, harass, or disrupt a streamer results in a ban; duration is decided case by case. Following someone as a Pteranodon and spam-calling is treated by staff as an attempt to reveal location.

Mixpacking means different species cooperating in defense or attack. Bodyblocking a species other than your own (exception: allowed mixed groups). A Pteranodon used as a spotter counts as mixpacking and results in a penalty for the whole group. If you join a fight, you must attack all sides of the conflict. Sharing food with another species is not mixpacking. Pack limits: Pack Limits section. Allowed mixpacks: Mixed Groups section.

• Mixpacking only within official Allowed mixed groups listed under Mixed Groups.
• Overpacking: Deinosuchus may exceed the limit only while hunting a pack at the shore.
• Juveniles may stay over the pack limit only until 40% growth; then they must leave immediately.
• Being on the same Discord channel does not give permission to sit near each other in-game.
• A screenshot showing someone is on Discord together is not proof of mixpacking / overpacking.

Faking friendly intent to kill a player or group member is forbidden, including false friendly chat and using a 2-call then attacking or killing someone. Deliberately killing members of your own group is also forbidden. After leaving a group, a former member may not be attacked by that group for 15 minutes. Tracking a former group member in order to eliminate them before those 15 minutes have expired is forbidden.

Saving a dinosaur via storage, teleport, or entomb is forbidden. Fleeing into a safe zone during a fight counts as combat logging. Logging out via safe log does not break this rule.

Drowning yourself or jumping off a cliff to deny others your body is forbidden.

Exception: semi-aquatic dinosaurs may escape into water.

Returning on a new dinosaur to the same spot only to revenge-kill your killer is forbidden. The killer does not get lifelong protection - the victim may return after 30 minutes.

Spawning in a nest to kill siblings, suicide / waste the egg, destroy the nest, or "sell" its location is forbidden (constant spam-calling counts too).

For carnivores, contesting carcasses is normal gameplay. Herbivores do not eat meat (Galli and Beipi count as herbi). Sitting on a body - even a herdmate's - only to deny predators a meal is treated as griefing. When the fight is over, leave and let the body go. Building a nest near a body as an excuse to guard it is bypassing this rule. If the nest was already built and eggs were laid - it does not count as bodycamping.

Camping or waiting for players at teleports is forbidden. Waiting at teleport locations to attack immediately is forbidden.

Camping at safe zone entrances or exits to attack players entering or leaving is forbidden.

Attacking, jumping on other players, or otherwise harassing them inside a safe zone is forbidden (including Troodon jumps / attacks).

Jumping or flying onto a Triceratops's horns as a Troodon, Omniraptor, Herrera, Pteranodon, or Austroraptor is forbidden. Attempts are at your own risk - dinosaurs will not be restored after such incidents.
